Writing my Story with Glory has been compensated by the Friends with Beneful program. All opinions are mine alone. #FriendsWithBeneful #PurinaPartner
The years since we adopted Glory and getting to know each other have been a whirlwind of emotions. Getting me used to owning a dog, something I hadn’t done since I was seven, was part of the transition. Forgiving the destructive tendencies of a newly adopted, anxious, pet who destroyed my favorite purse was another.
There have been great moments with her too. Teaching her to play and discovering her favorite games are some of them. Tug. She loves tug. Best game ever! She communicates her preferences in comfy spots to sleep. Always on my big comfy blankets on top of the kids bean bags. So much better than her own big expensive bed. She also has the most expressive eyebrows I’ve ever seen. With Glory we have learned that yes, dogs have their own thoughts, interests and emotions. Glory is definitely a loved part of our family.
Friends with Beneful
Over the past few months I’ve been invited to be a brand ambassador with Beneful in their Friends with Beneful program and I’m thrilled! Not only is this the brand of dog food Glory likes the most, but their focus is on healthy and happy dogs makes me happy. This is a great fit for Living a Sunshine Life! I love the tagline of Healthy with a Side of Happy. It describes Glory exactly. Our vet has always commented on these things when it comes to Glory. He’s always been impressed at how much happier she is since his initial visit with her when we first adopted her years ago.
We recently received a welcome package from the Friends with Beneful program. I opened it expecting a lot of fun toys and swag for Glory. I was right. She did get a lot of cool stuff, what I didn’t expect was to also receive a fantastic gift! This beautiful, hardbound journal. If you’ve followed me long enough, you know I love to write in journals and I own a lot of them. I know quality journals and this is one of them. It was the perfect gift and really gave me the idea for the title of this post about writing my story with Glory. That’s exactly what I’ll be doing with this program. I have the opportunity to share with you our story with Glory, past, present and the excitement of what’s to come. We’re going to have a lot of fun with this.
Games
I mentioned that Glory received some great gifts from Beneful, and you already might have noticed the frisbee up there in the first picture. I love this gift and this picture, and think it’s hilarious at the same time because frisbee is not one of Glory’s games. She’s never liked it, but I thought she was adorable in that picture, sort of like, I don’t always play frisbee, but when I do… just kidding, I don’t play frisbee.
That’s okay though, because they sent a lot of other new toys for Glory to try out and she loved a lot of them. Not to mention a little pamphlet included with some new game ideas. We hadn’t thought about playing the shell game with our pets, but it was suggested so we tried it, and so glad we did. Glory loves this game!
More to Come
All in all, I’m happy to be part of the Friends with Beneful program. We’re excited to share our relationship with Glory with you and why we choose Beneful over the next several months. There’s a lot of good stuff to come, but for now, Glory is ready for dinner. One of her favorite parts of the day.
What is your favorite part of being a dog owner? I’d love to hear your thoughts and stories in the comments below. Fun dog stories always make me smile.
Hi Mary! Thank you for the beautiful pictures of Glory. She relly is lovely.
I came here to find out about affiliate marketing, as I have a blog and a business, but make less than no money on either.
I apreciate your critque of Michelle’s course. It’s hard to find anybody who doesn’t simply rave about how great it is.
Kind of like when I ask friends to tell me what they thought of my blog, and they always said “Oh, it’s really nice. I liked it.” Tells me nothing.
Have a lovely and peaceful day.
Thanks Linda! I honestly do love Michelle’s course. Overall it’s been fantastic for me. When I do use the tips (I admit, I’ve been slacking lately) my affiliate income does increase. I hope it works for you too!
