Caramel Apple Roll Ups


  • Apple any variety, granny smith is my favorite for this
  • brown sugar
  • butter
  • refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • caramel sauce
  • nut topping


  • Preheat the oven according to crescent roll package directions.
  • Slice apple into thin wedges and treat with lemon juice or a citric acid to prevent browning.
  • Separate the crescent rolls into the pre-roll triangles and place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
  • Top each dough triangle with butter, about 1/2 tsp of brown sugar on each, an apple slice, and a drizzle of caramel sauce. Roll up the crescent rolls as you normally would.
  • Bake according to crescent roll package directions.
  • When done baking remove from baking sheet immediately.
  • To serve, place on plate, drizzle more caramel sauce on top and top with the nut topping.
