Preheat the oven according to crescent roll package directions.
Slice apple into thin wedges and treat with lemon juice or a citric acid to prevent browning.
Separate the crescent rolls into the pre-roll triangles and place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Top each dough triangle with butter, about 1/2 tsp of brown sugar on each, an apple slice, and a drizzle of caramel sauce. Roll up the crescent rolls as you normally would.
Bake according to crescent roll package directions.
When done baking remove from baking sheet immediately.
To serve, place on plate, drizzle more caramel sauce on top and top with the nut topping.
