Sriracha sauce makes everything better. The deliciously sweet spice of the Rooster is phenomenal. If you’ve never had the opportunity to succumb to the fantastically bold flavors of this amazing red chili sauce, then you are missing out. Unless, of course, you don’t like spicy food. In that case, share this with the spice lovers in your inner circles who do appreciate the burn of pure spicy heaven.
I would love it if Sriracha could make an appearance at every meal. Even my three year old is in love with it. I top eggs, and steak, salads, sandwiches, soups, casseroles, just about anything. Today I went full on snack mode. Popcorn.
Sure, air popped popcorn can be bland and lifeless, but when you add the glory of Sriracha it turns into a volcano of flavor. Best part about it? It’s so easy to do!
Melt 1 tablespoon of butter, add in a teaspoon to tablespoon of Sriracha (depending on your spice threshold.) We like ours on the spicy side. Drizzle it over 8 cups of popcorn for a milder flavor, or adjust the popcorn down to boost the heat and Sriracha flavor.
Have fun playing with the spice and flavor level to suit your tastes. Also, I’ve noticed you don’t need any additional salt with this recipe so don’t bump up the sodium because the Sriracha is all you’ll need. If you love the spice but don’t love the burn, don’t forget to have a glass of milk close by.
I’m in heaven. I’ve eaten this at least twice today, and I foresee much snacking on this in the future. I’ve even found a ground Sriracha spice flavoring to add a sprinkle of spice when a drizzle just doesn’t work. With the Sriracha craze going on strong I have a feeling it’s going to keep getting easier to enjoy this flavorful hot sauce. It was even found in my spicy tuna roll the other night at dinner! Everyone is using it!

I put Sriracha on everything too! I prefer Tobasco or Franks Red Hot on popcorn, but I will try this next time!

Never tried eating flavoured popcorn before. In Sweden we only have salted or popcorn with butter, but now stores even have popcorn spices…influence from USA I can guess:)

You’ll be happy you did, lol…but test it out before you get there. I’d hate for you to get it too spicy and be stuck without a drink at the theater!

This is new never heard of that flavor suace but would like to try it. we usually add butter only on our pop corn
