Summer is just around the corner and I’m ready for some rest and relaxation! It’s vacation season! We’ve already taken a couple day trips this year so far, but I’m looking forward to some more adventures. We’re more of a spontaneous family so you never know when or where we’ll decide to pick up and…
June Relaxation Social Media Challenge #SunshineYourFeed
Finally it’s our summer break and a majority of my scheduled obligations are complete. We still have a camping trip and a water park outing left on the books, but that’s some fun I can handle. Since it’s time for us to take a bit of a break I thought this was the perfect time…
Homemade Taco Seasoning
My kids are serious about Taco Tuesday. It has to be Tuesday if we’re going to have tacos that is. I’m not sure why they’re so particular about it, but that’s the groan I hear every time I try to make tacos on any other day of the week. The thing that’s weird about this…
The Ultimate Collection of List Journal Ideas
I love journaling. One of my favorite types of journals is a list journal. Basically, this is just a journal where you create lists about anything you want to create a list about. Sometimes I want to write, but I don’t know what to write about, or I’m not looking for any kind of deep…
Finding Positive Inspiration Through the Rude Behavior of Others
If you’re going to pull something childish and rude on people in public, you better make sure you’re not messing around with the wrong person. The wrong person may just be a blogger, like me, who’s going to share your story with the public. Okay, really if you’re going to pull something childish and rude…
May Blog & Journal Prompts

Worlds of Fun: A First Time for Everything
Last year we had our first Worlds of Fun Adventure. It was our first visit to the park and we were glad we went. This year, we were familiar with the park so we took on some favorite attractions from last year, and made sure we hit up some of the things we missed from last year.
Some of the rides we missed last year weren’t actually missed. They just weren’t there last year! That’s right, Worlds of Fun has two new thrill rides! Mustang Runner and Falcon’s Flight.
Matcha Whipped Cream Recipe plus a Chocolate Chip Variation
My life changed the day I discovered matcha. Alright, maybe that’s a bit dramatic, but learning about matcha and how to cook with it has become a new, and delicious, pastime for me. In my house right now I have ceremonial matcha for hot tea, sweet matcha for making green tea lattes, and culinary matcha…
