This has been an amazing year for both me and Living a Sunshine Life! I took a several month break earlier in the year because I was burned out, then I came back full force and I’m loving it even more. I did miss all of you while I was gone, but I’m glad I took a break. It gave me a chance to regroup and get back on track with my vision for Living a Sunshine Life.
I had a lot of great posts, but I thought I would highlight some of my favorites for you from the year. It’ll be fun to revisit some of these posts. I can’t believe how far I’ve come in my writing and photography, as well as in my love of my fans. You guys are amazing and I’m so lucky to have all of you!
Before I get too far off track, here are some of my favorite posts over the past year.
I love this post because it’s honest. I still have trouble relaxing sometimes. I feel like I always need to be busy. I don’t think this post got the attention it should because I know more people out there have trouble relaxing. Maybe this is something I’ll work on in 2015.
This post is honestly making me laugh. This is one of my favorite appetizers turned into a dip (cream cheese pickle wraps), but the photography here. Wow. Amazing how much I’ve improved over the past year. This just goes to show you that persistence pays off! I might go back and update the photography in this post later in 2015.
One thing I’m kicking myself for in this post is that I didn’t make a good title image for it. This is probably one of the most important posts I have ever written for myself. It’s a reminder that I’m in control of my life and society doesn’t really get a say in what I do or how I feel. It was a post about self empowerment, and I wrote it when I was getting back in the blogging game. I highly encourage you to check it out.
One of my tribe members, Charity, over at The Wounded Dove helped me dig down and really look at what makes me a Supermom thanks to the link ups she was doing. Hint: It’s not because of the cooking and crafts I do with/for the kids. Looking back at this post is a great reminder that I’m human and maybe there is a part of me that is a Supermom.
When I wrote this sponsored post for Hallmark I really gained some of my confidence back in my blogging. It was at this point it clicked with me how to create a story and take some amazing pictures to tell you a story about my life and the things we’re doing. This is the point my blogging really took a turn upwards, at least from my perspective.
Finally I wanted to end on a high note. This sponsored post I wrote for Planters was featured in additional marketing and received the highest readership in one week than any post I have ever written. I smiled at the recognition I received from this post because it was one of the first times I felt like I could keep up with some of the bigger bloggers. Not to mention, check out how my photography has improved over the past year!
