It’s been an action packed summer for our family and we’re not ready to let it go just yet. We’ve spent the summer on several 4H activities, we visited Worlds of Fun, had playdates with friends, went swimming, visited family, signed up for Girl Scouts, visited state parks and played outside. A lot. Ice cream cones, milkshakes, watermelon, paint filled water balloons, water filled water balloons, played in the sprinkler, grew our own garden *deep breath* and a whole lot more.
We’re going to be ending our summer with a bang. A big bang of kid celebration at Kidchella! It’s the best way to give our fun filled summer the farewell party it deserves.
Kidchella is a music and arts festival for kids. You’ll find several different villages throughout Stinson Park, including the Earth and Wellness Village, Maker Village, Cinema and Theater, Vendor Village and more! There will be live entertainment continuously throughout the event. Kids will have the opportunity to learn new skills, watch demonstrations, and create fun art projects.
I can’t wait to share all of this excitement with the kids. My kids are already filled with imagination and creativity, so putting them in the middle of the ultimate inspiration event is going to be fantastic to watch.
This will be the best birthday party the Omaha Children’s Museum could ask for, and the best gift is that all proceeds for the event are being donated to the museum! We get to celebrate in full on kid style while benefitting one of the best places for kids to play and learn.
I hope you’ll join me! The event details are found below.
