November is almost here! One of my favorite months, mainly because I love Thanksgiving. I don’t care so much about the history side of the holiday because that part has been changed in the history books to be more positive than it really was. Instead I love the reflection of gratitude so many people have. I do believe we should always be thankful for the things and people in our lives year round, however November is the month where everyone celebrates that gratitude in their own ways.
Everyone has their own Thanksgiving tradition, and one tradition a lot of people have is to share their gratitude on social media. Every year I set out to participate and every year I forget. Not this year! I want to share the love, peace and gratitude with everyone. I want to remind people why I’m thankful to have them in my life and dig down deep to talk about the things in my life I’m thankful for. Since I’m doing this, I thought I’d share the challenge with you too.
The Gratitude Challenge, #SunshineYourFeed is just like the previous August Facebook challenge and October Instagram challenge, an attempt to get some more positive vibes flowing on social media. Let’s spread some smiles to our friends and family and give them a break from the negative news so they can recharge those emotions and bring a little joy into their lives.
Here’s how it works:
Gratitude Challenge for November #SunshineYourFeed
Join the Living a Sunshine Life Facebook Group. The daily gratitude prompts for the challenge will be posted there daily throughout the month of November.
From November 1-30 I will post a prompt each day in the group for you to create a Facebook post and/or Tweet on your personal wall (or even the group if you want to share) to spread some positive vibes and gratitude. Get creative with your shares and feel free to add photos or post more than once through the day. This is all about sharing some happy mojo with the social media world. Have fun with it.
You can use the hashtag #SunshineYourFeed so others can see what you’ve posted along with any other gratitude related tags. If you make your posts public on Facebook anyone can see your posts when searching the hashtag. Don’t worry, you can still use the hashtag even if your posts aren’t public. In that situation only your Facebook friends will be able to see your posts when searching the hashtag. This is a great way for you and your friends to quickly see each others challenge posts each day. On Twitter anyone can search the hashtag unless your account is private.
If you don’t like the prompt, or don’t know what to say, feel free to share your own thankfulness message using the hashtag.
Gratitude Challenge Button
If you are a blogger or have your own website, you can share this challenge with others as a button on the sidebar or within the body of a page. Here’s the html code.

That’s it. It’s pretty simple just like the last couple of challenges. Just check the Facebook group daily for your prompt and spread some love on your Facebook feed and Twitter feed through the month of November. I can’t wait to see what everyone is grateful for!
Love this! totally gonna participate 🙂 Would love for you to link this up to Gratitude and Goals. New linky will be available Friday.
Awesome! I’ll link up tomorrow. Writing it on my to do list now! Thanks for participating. I think this is my favorite challenge yet. Next month I’ll have a “gifting” social media challenge up. I just need to get everything scheduled to go live. Check that one out too at the end of this month/beginning of December. I think you might like it too.
