Garlic bread is one of my favorite sides or appetizers. It goes with so many different dishes, and it’s a great snack for when I’m looking for something on the savory side. Especially with a bit of spaghetti sauce to dip it in!
This recipe will show you how you can easily have simple garlic roll ups in minutes, especially if you don’t have a garlic bread loaf or frozen garlic bread to heat up.
It’s perfect to pair with spaghetti, eggplant parmesan, lasagna, or even meatballs! Don’t forget the always popular pairing of garlic bread and pizza either. I’ve even been known to whip these up quick to go on the side of a soup or salad.
Easy Cheesy Garlic Roll Ups
Preheat the oven to 350 F. Then start with a tortilla. One tortilla will make 2 roll ups. Get creative and try different flavors of tortillas to give your garlic cheese roll ups a new flavor. There are a lot of different flavors on the market these days. A tomato basil or even spinach wrap would be fantastic with this simple recipe.
Top it with some shredded mozzarella cheese and sprinkle it with just a bit of garlic powder. Not too much, that stuff can be potent.
Roll it all up and hold it together with a toothpick if needed. Usually I just have to press it down a bit to get it to hold shape, but the toothpick helps if it’s being stubborn.
Bake it for about 5 minutes or until the cheese is all melted and gooey. I cut each one in half on the diagonal and serve hot with a dipping sauce if you choose.
